FALL 2026 CLASS CATALOG

Create. Build. Invent.

Choose from five hands-on STEM courses where you'll create, build, invent and innovate alongside experienced instructors.

This fall, BrandywineBOTS STEM Academy invites students to explore, create, and innovate through five exciting hands-on courses for students of ALL ages designed to spark curiosity and build real-world skills. Whether you’re building competitive robots, designing products with 3D printers, creating your own video games, engineering technology that helps others, or bringing original comic book stories to life, every class is centered around learning by doing.

Students will work with professional tools and technology while developing creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills in a fun and supportive environment. No matter their experience level, every student will leave with projects they created themselves, new confidence in their abilities, and the inspiration to keep inventing long after class ends.

Program Details Below

STEM Academy Fall Schedule:

Monday – Engineering with VEX Robotics (Grades 1-5)

Build. Program. Compete

Tuition: $399

Dates: 9/28/26 - 11/16/26 (5:00 PM - 6:30 PM)

Ever wanted to build your own robot? In VEX Robotics & Engineering, you'll design, build, and program robots capable of completing challenges, navigating obstacles, and competing against other teams. Learn how real engineers solve problems while experimenting with gears, motors, sensors, and coding.

Each week you'll improve your robot's design, test new ideas, and tackle exciting challenges that require creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking.

Whether you dream of becoming an engineer or just love building cool things, this course puts you in the driver's seat of innovation.

Tuesday – 3D Printing & Product Design (Grades 3-8)

Design It. Print It. Hold It.

Tuition: $399

Dates: 9/29/26 - 11/17/26 (5:00 PM - 6:30 PM)

What if you could turn your ideas into real objects?

In this hands-on course, you'll learn how to create digital designs and transform them into physical products using 3D printers. Design custom keychains, gaming accessories, desk gadgets, prototypes, and inventions limited only by your imagination.

You'll explore the same design process used by engineers, inventors, and product developers while learning professional CAD software and rapid prototyping techniques.

Every project starts with an idea; and ends with something you can actually hold in your hands.

Wednesday – Scratch Coding & Video Game Design (Grades 3-8)

Code Your Own Games. Create Your Own World.

Tuition: $399

Dates: 9/30/26 - 11/18/26 (5:00 PM - 6:30 PM)

Why just play video games when you can create them?

In this course, you'll learn how to design and program your own games using Scratch, the coding platform developed by MIT. Build platformers, racing games, adventures, and more while learning the same programming concepts used by professional software developers.

As your skills grow, you'll add scoring systems, power-ups, animations, sound effects, and custom game mechanics to make your creations truly unique.

No experience needed; just bring your imagination.

Thursday – Assistive Technology Design (Grades 6-12)

Invent Technology That Changes Lives

Tuition: $399

Dates: 10/1/26 - 11/19/26 (5:00 PM - 6:30 PM)

What if your next invention could help someone overcome a real challenge?

In this unique hands-on engineering course, you'll use the Smart Servo system to build assistive devices designed for people with disabilities. Create projects that help individuals turn pages, hold tools, activate devices, and perform everyday tasks more independently.

Each project is inspired by real people and real challenges. You'll work through a series of engineering design challenges while learning robotics, mechanics, electronics, and physical computing.

By the end of the course, you'll have built an impressive collection of engineering projects—and discovered how technology can make a meaningful difference in someone's life.

Saturday – Comic Book Creation & Digital Storytelling (Grades 3-8)

Create Characters. Build Worlds. Tell Epic Stories

Tuition: $449

Dates: 10/3/26 - 11/21/26 (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

Have a great story idea? Bring it to life.

In Comic Book Creation & Digital Storytelling, you'll learn how comic artists and graphic novel creators develop unforgettable characters, exciting plots, and visually stunning pages. From superheroes and fantasy adventures to sci-fi epics and slice-of-life stories, you'll create your own original comic from start to finish.

Learn illustration techniques, panel design, dialogue writing, storytelling, and digital publishing while developing your own unique style.

At the end of the course, you'll leave with a completed comic book that's entirely your creation.
You don’t have to be a great artist; you just need a story to tell!
